Ergo Leadership
RP Eddy is CEO of Ergo. Previously, he served as Director at the White House National Security Council, Chief of Staff to the U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Richard Holbrooke, and Senior Policy Officer to the UN Secretary-General, where he served as an architect of the Global Fund to Prevent AIDS, TB, and Malaria. Eddy was a member of the State Department Senior Executive Service, and achieved the UN diplomatic rank of Minister-Counselor. Eddy was a Managing Director at the Gerson Lehrman Group and a Team Leader at the Monitor Group. The World Economic Forum at Davos honored him as a "Global Leader for Tomorrow." He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, an Associate at Harvard University's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and a Senior Fellow at the Madison Policy Forum. He has a B.Sc. in Neuroscience from Brown University.
Todd Egeland is a Managing Partner at Ergo. He retired in 2008 from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he held a number of senior positions, most recently as the Chief Strategy Officer. Prior assignments included Director of Transnational Issues, Chief of Cyber Threat Analysis, and Chief of Counterintelligence Assessments. His expertise is in illicit finance, political risk, food security, strategic planning, and analytic methods. He holds degrees from the University of Minnesota and The George Washington University.
Matthew Moneyhon is a Managing Partner at Ergo. He has worked for Gerson Lehrman Group, the U.S. State Department, the UN, and a range of academic and policy-oriented public and non-profit organizations. He holds degrees from the University of Texas, the University of Hawaii, and Columbia University. He has published papers on a variety of topics, ranging from strategies to improve U.S. public diplomacy to the political and social impact of economic development in China. He speaks Mandarin.
Evan Pressman is a Partner at Ergo. He was previously a Senior Research Manager at Gerson Lehrman Group and a journalist at CNN, where he was part of a team which received an Emmy award for coverage of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York. He is a Truman National Security Fellow. He has degrees from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where he was the John H. Hedges Fellow in Public Diplomacy, and Haverford College.
Matthew Kelleher is a Partner at Ergo. Before joining Ergo, he was a Research Manager at Gerson Lehrman Group. His previous work experience includes the U.S. State Department (United States Mission to the United Nations), and l'Oreal in Paris, France. He holds degrees from Duke University and Sciences Po Paris. He speaks fluent French.
Charlie Andrews Charlie Andrews is a Partner at Ergo. Previously, he was DCEO of Global Strategies Group, an internationally recognized leader in strategic business solutions for governments and the private sector, and ran the firm's Latin America operations. He was Director of an exclusive London-based real estate company and then, as a stockbroker, managed investor portfolios of high net worth clients. He served as a British Army Officer for seven years, retiring as Captain and Brigade Staff Officer. He holds degrees from Kings College and the London School of Economics.
Shan Mei is Chairman of Ergo China. Prior to joining Ergo, Mei was Chairman of Reed Elsevier in China from 2006-2010, where he led the publishing giant's government relations and business development efforts. From 1986-2005 he was a Senior Consultant at Kissinger Associates, where he was responsible for the firm's broad range of work in China and advised clients on legal, business development, and government affairs issues. Mei graduated from Peking University Law School and then earned a MA in international affairs from Columbia University and a LLM from Harvard Law School. He is currently based in Beijing.
Udayan (Udi) Chattopadhyay is Global Head of Business Development at Ergo. His prior experience includes strategy consulting with a focus on telecom, media and healthcare at McKinsey & Company and KPMG, as well as launching new business initiatives at the American Museum of Natural History and the Times Square Alliance. He has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Cambridge University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, where he was a Thouron Fellow. He is fluent in Hindi and Bengali.
