Our global network of experts is the foundation of Ergo's model. Over the past four years, Ergo has built relationships with leading specialists in dozens of sectors and industries in over one hundred countries across six continents. These experts serve as on-call consultants for Ergo, and are invited to contribute to studies relevant to their precise area of expertise.
"Expertise" means something different to Ergo. Many firms offer access to "experts," but we have a much stricter definition, and a much higher standard. Experts who are merely "close to the issue" are not good enough for Ergo's clients. Ergo's frontline experts deliver vital, real-time, actionable information in response to your direct questions. Our experts know what the decision-makers are thinking. In many cases, they are the decision-makers themselves. Currently numbering over 12,000, our network is constantly expanding; for every new project, we recruit new experts to obtain the most detailed and accurate information for our clients.
In addition to our global network of individual experts, Ergo has established relationships with over 80 in-country teams around the world. These in-country teams are highly connected and knowledgeable, speak the local language, know the local culture, and are intimately familiar with the political, economic, and business landscapes. Our in-country teams gather information and insights that can be obtained only through in-person and on-the-ground interactions.
Ergo views compliance as a cornerstone of our business and is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct. We work to ensure that all contributing experts are free from conflicts. We rigorously protect against the conveyance of material nonpublic information and the provision of such information to clients trading public securities. We also offer our clients the opportunity to tailor engagements to meet their specific compliance standards.
